Chris (he/they) is a psychiatrist, clinical researcher, and director of the Social Neuroscience & Psychotherapy (SNaP) Lab based at Oregon Health & Science University and the Portland VA. SNaP Lab’s projects prioritize equitable access to paradigm-shifting mental health interventions for marginalized populations and explore the ethical integration of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy within current systems of care. Ongoing funded projects include a randomized controlled trial of psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy for Veterans with methamphetamine use disorder and MDMA-assisted group therapy for Veterans with PTSD. Chris is a member of Oregon Health Authority’s Psilocybin Advisory Board, teaches for a variety of OHA-approved psychedelic facilitator training programs, and is a supervisor and trainer for the MDMA Therapy Education Program at MAPS. [www.chrisstauffermd.com](http://www.chrisstauffermd.com/)
